Our own director of photography in the series, Alek Pérez (Cuba) teamed up with Ayoze de Alejandro (Islas Canarias) to play another episode of #musicacotidiana and this time one of Alek´s original songs"'Camina". This all done Live on the spot in the true spirit of musical friendship and the heritage we share between islands. Performing with the talented Sarod player Soumik Datta on his live album launch show along with Gurdain Singh Rayatt on tablas and Camilo Tirado behind the mixer at Oslo London venue.


Playing the Afro-Cuban Bata drums and an Argentinean Bombo legüero drum on a Live unplugged session for a Chilean online TV with the Latin-American London based band called Lokandes at Wetlands reservoir London.


Covid 19 quarantine Latino-American Carnavalito collaboration with the Barcelona based Sakapatu band and the London based Lokandes band. I did the arrangement for drum kit and Afro-Cuban Bata drums. 


International musical adventurers The Turbans bind together "music from manywhere", drawing on the rich cultural heritage of the Levantine and Balkan regions and their roots in Turkey, Bulgaria, Iran, Greece, Spain, Tunisia, Morocco and London to create a high energy blend of original music for the 21st century, inspired by ancient melodies. Their debut album was produced by the band along with Tom Excell and Thibaut Remy and mixed by Jerry Boys, the five-time Grammy winner who has worked with Buena Vista Social Club, Ali Farka Toure, Shakira, Toumani Diabate and Kronos Quartet.
